I haven't posted any music on Movestill for a while.

I've been posting music stuffs on my 'music' blog Grey Gardens.

But considering I have 18 readers, 5 of whom are fellow Movestill'ers and a further 3 of which are family members, I thought I should perhaps send this out to a wider audience... That, and this one involves one of our own... The Bumblebeez (shout outttt Lunoez)

XXXclusive Emergency

I've posted about Melbourne duo The Emergency quite a bit. I've been a huge huge fan of their stuff for years (first as an electro-clashy four piece on Feral Media and now as a minimal disco inspired independent duo) and when I interviewed them for Pages Magazine in 2007 I fell in love with them - they're super sweet!

Rather than rushing their second album, they've been carefully composing and reworking tracks and taking time out to perfect their live show. Word from the boys is the record is now 80% finished, and to celebrate Morgan and Milo are releasing a 12" through Metal Postcard - a NY label I've blogged about previously on Movestill. Forever/Too Much is currently off getting pressed and you'll be able to grab copies on vinyl (white vinyl too) and CD here. Head there and you can also grab some free mp3s by ollo, dj foundation, dsico, wax audio, wel hung dj, and dj grandbrother as summer vibes seem to be making Metal Postcard all generous of spirit!

About a month ago I interviewed Swedish duo Air France for one of the mags I write for.



Today, I've heard their wistful, contemplative, deliciously summery electro pop single 'Collapsing At Your Doorstep' turned into a disco number, complete with hand-claps, trumpets and a funny remixed vocal, courtesy of UK producer Friend

I'll give you a heads up when the interview with the Swedish duo is published, just in case you love Air France as much as I do! They had some really interesting stories about how they met and described their music as an avenue through which they could explore and develop their socialist politics.

In the meantime though, jam out to the remix! And also check out the Friend reworking of Rye Rye's 'Shake It' on his myspace, and have a play around his hugely esoteric website

Cause when Obie Trice originally put Wanna Know out, it only found it's way onto an Entourage Soundtrack mix. Clearly NOT envolved enough, the remix features Entourage cameo Saigon. When running out of content, they speak of their good friends Turtle and co. I wonder if ex-manager Turtle likes the new version?
