For the record, I am a MacGyver fan. In fact, I'm a pretty big MacGyver fan. Right this very moment the complete seasons 2 & 3 of MacGyver are sitting safely in my lounge room and I can honestly say I've watched almost all of them. But I still think Schwimmer is better.
Perhaps the very fact that I have watched so many MacGyver episodes is why I favor Schwimmy over MacG. There are only so many times you can watch Angus MacGyver (yes, seriously) diffuse a nuclear bomb at The Pheonix Foundation with a toothpick and a floppy disk, or save an Aztec Icon from a Columbian drug lord with duck tape, some sulfate and a tampon before you start to realise he's just a little too perfect and then MacG kind of becomes...well, boring.
Schwimmer on the other hand is hilarious. H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. He also attended Beverly Hills High - fo realz, which makes him way cooler than MacGyver in a 90210 kind of way. But mostly I think I just like Schwimmer because he acts like a retard 90% of the time.
When Neha and I started this debate I was deep into my affair 30 Rock and had just watched the "Greenzo" episode which features Schwimmy. If you haven't seen it, GO NOW AND WATCH IT. It's amazing. Then come back and tell me Schwimmer isn't better.
