“lets never ever see daft punk again because it will never be as fun”

There lies a beauty which has you glad Daft Punk decided on substance and creativity when they flipped that coin during their first band meeting instead of buying into the hype. A rarity in our times.

Tickets for the Australian Daft Punk tour ‘Nevereverland’ sold more and quicker than any Daft Punk-related event in their history. A Triple J interview with their manager, Pedro Winter (Busy P) revealed that Daft Punk's Sydney appearance last Saturday December 22 was their final show for 2007 and the last to feature the infamous million-dollar pyramid light scheme. There is strong talk that it may have been their last show ever.

Regardless of whether it was or was not, last Saturday, we witnessed one of the best live shows ever and (yesssss) it melted all of our faces off. Daft Punk emerged to the sounds of Close Encounters of the Third Kind and kicked off with an absolutely uncontrollable Robot Rock. The entire set was a sensory overload; a visual spectacular of lights and colours more brilliant than our minds could've ever dreamed up, set to songs that made up the soundtrack of our lives for the last decade at one point or another. All 55,000 people spent 90 minutes mesmerized my the visuals, screaming along to all the words and dancing like it was their job to tracks One More Time, Technologic, Around The World, Da Funk and the brilliant Alive, just to name a handful. Under the stunning backdrop of a clear Sydney night with the moon shining down bright as a spotlight, there were so many cellphones out it would make your headspin. Everyone knew this was something special.

The highlight would have to be the encore, opening with Human After All. At the end, when the duo’s red-lit jackets and helmets came to life after a red beam of light made its way through the triangles and up the pyramid, the crowd erupted and they humbly bowed and nodded their heads thanking us. Crew members said they were “visibly moved” after they came off stage. And with that, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter transformed from robots at the beginning of the night to humans after all.

today i am...

so OVER it:

1) when you go to see a band and they play their "hit" that most of the audience has been waiting to sing-a-long too but then they change it justtttt slightly when they sing it (because they're bored playing it for the gazillionth time) so that the audience sings along but the timing is all off. happened last week with a certain band (you'll never guess who) and when the singer broke into the chorus, the audience sang "i was walking with a ghost" and she sang "i was walking with aaaaaaaaaaa- g-hostttt"... just to mix it up.

2)christmas parties/ free drinks... when its 10pm and there’s a lychee martini in one hand, a sleazy text message being sent with the other, and I leave to buy my second pack of malboro lights, trouble is a'brewin (pun).

3)LENSELESS SUNNIES. for fuck's sake.

so INTO it:

1) checking out new sydney superclub 'The Ivy' this wednesday at its opening party. more intrigued than anything by the poolside bar that apparantly has (lychee) martini glasses that float on the water.

2) DAFT PUNK this saturday in sydney. i was listening to their best of this morning whilst walking to work and my face almost melted off. SO MANY HITZZZ!

3) this...

that's all.

Never Heard Of Zeppelin

I am really into diy punk pop stuff at the moment (ie. pretty much anything on NY label Metal Postcard)

Never Heard Of Zeppelin has been releasing stuff online for a while but recently Metal Postcard has taken him on board, mastering some old gems and releasing a 7" called Is This Business. Its low-fi pop/electro/punk blah blah blah the only thing that really matters is that it is good!

Never Heard Of Zeppelin 'This Song' (old version)

I'm loving it! I've also been anticipating a myspace revival, and I think NHoZ is with me

Never Heard of Zeppelin 'Top 8'

Now, to enjoy the sunshine. Sydney is 27 degrees, sunny and uh-may-zing

BRING IT ON!!!!

pick the sample

Do you remember in 1998 when a record was released made entirely from old Beck Hansen samples? It was called 'Deconstructing Beck', and the master-mind behind the record was a guy known as Philo T Farnsworth. Of course, that isn't his real name - the nature of his work means he has to remain anonymous to avoid legal action from the music labels whose artists he samples.

Philo's current project is Illegal Art - an online label entirely devoted to showcasing the possibilities of electronic sampling. As a platform for both new and old sample-based electronica, Illegal Art is an avenue through which experimental artists can showcase work that must otherwise remain private.

'Champions of Wonder' by Oh Astro is a wonderful example of this kind of stuff

Combining fragments of pop, children's songs, electro, soul and rock, husband and wife Jane Dowe and Hank Hofler (and sometimes collaborator Stefen Robinson - aka Yea Big of Yea Big and Kid Static) create stuff that is at once new and nostalgic. The songs are playful and whimsical, and while listening I felt I had already heard each track, but couldn't quite pick every sample. What I love about the album is that it isn't at all frenetic (like Girl Talk's 'Night Ripper' for example) but quite ambient and glitchy.

'Champions...' is their full length record, and is well worth the US$10 (approx AU$15) Grab it via the Illegal Art webstore, shipping takes around 10 days. Then, if its your kinda thing, submit your own tunes here

Once you've had a listen, you can read up on the samples here I didn't though... I kinda prefer guessing!

noooooooooooooo

After a month or so of whispers, and canceling their Aussie tour on Monday, it was confirmed last night that Marina Vello has left Bonde Do Role.

I never got to see them perform live. I am crushed.

Gorky and Pedro D'eyrot posted this bulletin on Myspace last night:

"Due to several internal problems between us, we had to cancel a lot of our shows from the European tour, and we also had to cancel the scheduled Australian tour (everyone knew how excited we were about it!). For that we're really really sorry. And we also announce that Marina is no longer with us, due to these internal problems. We wish her all the best in whatever she decides to do with her future, and she can always count on us as friends. We are working these issues right now as we speak, and we hope we can make it up to everyone who we let down this year, in the most awesome way we can!"

It has since been deleted and an official statement was released through their label Domino, which suggested they were in the process of recruiting a new MC.

While you mourn... I'm watching this

She's proved she can kick it with Iggy, and now she's on stage with TONE LOC! She is amazing. Bet she'd never quit Bonde Do Role...

blockbuster

i just love a good blockbuster once in a while. dendy films are great, y'know arthouse cinema, subtitles, complex narrative... fantastic, love it, gimme more. BUT sometimes there's nothing more enjoyable than just being completely entertained by the spectacle that is a hollywood blockbuster motion picture.

the first of the new series of Batman movies featuring Christian Bale- 'Batman Begins'- was one such experience for me. i went to watch it at the movies and was most excited about the fact that i'd get to eat popcorn. but the movie was FANTASTIC. i've watched it about 10 times now and i could watch it about 3000 times more. it is really so good. so you can imagine my excitement when i saw that the poster for the sequel was released this week...

must be love

Today I was asked out on a date via email.

Last week I received an invitation via instant message on Facebook, and the week prior to that, someone asked me out via text message.

The whole geek-chic thing is fine by me, I love having an internet just as much as the next Gen Y and (embarrassingly?) spend most of my time online, but when did it become OK to tech-date? Has my recently-ended-almost-three-year-relationship-to-an-actual-person left me wrongly expectant of real communication? And real touch? Is this what people do now?

2 weeks ago I read about Patrick Moberg, a guy from NY who set up a website called nygirlofmydreams.com designed to track down a girl he saw (and apparently fell in love with) on the subway. If someone set up something like that for me, I would never catch the train again. Ever. One of the girl's colleagues read the website, put the two of them in touch, and now they are, according to Moberg, "seeing what happens."

Hmmm...

What Moberg's website doesn't disclose is that a huge-ass film company has bought the rights to the story and plans to turn it into a movie. Plus, Moberg and his "homeless immigrant" (aka Aussie expat Camille Hayton) have appeared on ABC and Good Morning America, and have featured in newspapers all over the world.

I am inclined to believe it was all a hoax from the start. But perhaps that's where I'm tripping up. If I believed in love-at-first-internet, would I have agreed to those dates?

Probably not.

SHOULD HAVE POSTED THIS BEFORE THE ELECTION

SORR

LOL

PADDLE POPS - BUY THEM.

Do you know how hard it is to google image search Paddle Pops? Crazy hard.

This is the best I can come up with, and it's an ad. Not quite the direction that I expected movestill to head in, but hey... it's a dog eat dog world out there.

I don't mind advertising the Paddle Pop. You see lately, it's become a total vice. No joke - paddle pops, australian series LOVE MY WAY (see last post) and bad 'celebrity-day-off' outfits is who i am right now.

Right now I'm imitating Sport Spice, pre-'sexy' solo career.

Movestill has been getting occasional emails from the occasional record company, clearly loving the millions of hits our blog has been getting, wanting part of the action... but say, i dunno, if the Paddle Pop Lion wanted to get in touch... WHISPERED SUBTLY - OUR EMAIL ADDRESSES ARE TO THE RIGHT OF THE POSTS.

Love her way

This past weekend was about three women.

Maxine McKew

Yeah, wow, Labour, Bennalong, evs. I get it. The seat she has taken, or is likely to take, is hilarious. Howard aside, two non-related things kept coming into my mind every time she appeared on the lil' screen on sat night.

1. Imagine the movie/play/musical about her political career if she went even on to be, say PM? She couldn't have asked for a better first act. Apparently Cate Blancette was at her party in EASTWOOD(?), clearly sourcing script ideas.

2. Maxine has the biggest mouth I have ever seen.

Natalie Something-Italian

I had my tickets to the Australian Idol final taken away from me BEFORE I even received them. My initial reaction was to get angry at the person who made the executive decision WITHOUT me, but once she explained that she had seen not one bit of (even vague) interest in this series from me... I realised there actually was no need for me to attend the Opera House Final. Turns out I didn't even watch the show.

All i really new about this series was the Daniel Misfud used to live Michaella's house, and that Kyle was still a c**t. Supposedly, runner up Matt Corby doesn't want to be identified as an Australian Idol artist so is glad he didn't win. Yeah, probably best. That's exactly how it all works... Don't come first so no one remembers you and you can get signed to Ivy League or Modular. Tour with Van She. Fuck, imagine if you HAD won! (Kate DeAraugo anyone?)

Lou

Frankie is a tempestuous ball of mad life: she colours in for a living at a large daily newspaper. She lives with Tom, a fallen star chef, now a cook at the local rehabilitation hospital. Just down the road in a much nicer house lives Charlie 35, architect, surfer, emotionally stunted and Lou's father. He's also Frank's ex and Tom's brother. Charlie's remarried to Julia, a woman with firm dreams about her life that are about to come true and scare the shit out of her. Love My Way is an exploration of big characters dealing with the deepest human emotions. Love, hate, truth, lies, jealousy and anger. It deals with the randomness of life and the bloody mindedness needed to carve out a place in the world. These people are family by blood and family by proxy - a web of relationships which are pulled and strained by the strongest desires and contradictions of the human heart.

quickie

Remember when I blogged about Cadence Weapon?

Here's a taste of whats store from his sophomore release 'Afterparty Babies'

In Search Of The Youth Crew

PS. BIG UPS to the forkcast without which I would be lost (and without good new tunes)

PPS. I am listening to someone try and reverse park outside my window. Its hilarious. Poor Marie, If I had the girl with the nasal voice yelling at me from the pavement I'd scrape the side of the car against the gutter too!

Everywhere you go...

Is this passe yet?

Sophie Movestill was asking this same question months ago...

Tartan, tights, red nails, red lips, lens-less glasses, Club 77. I'm bored. This is so boring.

black lips

Atlanta's Black Lips are back with 'Good Bad Not Evil', their fourth studio album and second for Vice Records

From start to finish the album is a truly engaging combination of alt country, swirling psychadelia and garage rock, with vocals from Cole Alexander reminiscent of a John Cale drone - for example 'Veni Vidi Vici' with the "I caaaaame, I saaaaaaaw, I conquered aaaaaall..." chorus. The guitar and vocal is lazy and meandering and the drum just paces - I can imagine a long humid car ride through the Northern Territory (or anywhere hot, that was just the first place that came to mind OK) with that song on repeat...

Black Lips released their debut EP in late 2001 through Die Slaughterhauslabel (their own label.) Their first tour was booked for December 2002, but tragically days before they were due to leave, guitarist Ben Eberbaugh was killed in a driving accident - someone was drunk and going the wrong way on a highway. The band continued, believing that Eberbaugh would have wanted them to keep playing. Its been claimed 'Transcendental Light' is about that accident, and it may be, but it also could not be at all... their lyrics seem nostalgic sure, but also kind of dismissive. Listen yourself, and see what you think.

They're playing the Meredith Music Festival, and a solo show in Sydney at Oxford Art Factory December 18. Buy tickets here - but do so at your own risk! I have never seen them perform live, and people tell me their shows are phenomenally loud and super violent. Plus, I hear they once pissed in each other's mouths ON STAGE. Seriously. If you're a toe-in-the-water-before-you-jump-right-in kind of person, take a listen to 'Los Valientes Del Mundo Nuevo.' It's a live record that was released through Vice last February and should give you some indication of the raucousness of their sets.

Read their thoughts at their blog and keep your eyes out for a film next year - the band are starring in a Hollywood release as a ficticious 70s group of struggling musos called 'The Renegades.' Why? Who knows! Lets just hope they're better than The Wonders

new obsession.

oh hellllllllllllll no!

i love oprah. seriously. she's taught me so much about being friends with celebrities, domestic violence, road trips with the old gayle, being southern and... just being a woman in the modern world. her father, vernon, lives in my old stomping grounds- nashville, tennessee. he still owns a barber salon- "winfrey barber & beauty shop" and he works every day. oprah bought the street his shop is on and named it after him. i used to just drive down there sometimes.

my favourite episodes are the dr.oz specials (holy shit! if a guy loses 15 pounds, he gains 1 inch in penis length! mad.) and oprah’s “favorite things” episode, which airs today in america. it's one of the television highlights of the year basically.

click here to see every item on the 2007 list that audience members get for sitting on their backsides for an hour.

some of the things are pretty great but i was kinda surprised to read this on one of the many (!) web-sites that gives tips on how to get tickets to the oprah show:

"one of the most popular shows is oprah's favorite things. this is the show where she gives all of her favorite things to her audience. trying to get tickets to this particular show will definitely take you about two years".

what the herg? two years for a josh groban CD and a swing turtleneck and sailor pants set??? gurrrrrl lemme tell ya somethin... that! oprah!

early winter (summer if you're in australia)

someone: hey neha. love gwen stefani a bit more.

neha: impossible.

i'm also pretty crazy about expert british video director, sophie muller who is responsible for this clip for 'early winter'. she has directed over a hundred music videos and has been a longtime collaborator with acts like gwen, garbage, blur, eurythmics etc. but her entire body of work reads like a 'who's who' of the key players in music for the past 20 years. she has a pretty distinct style and you can definitely recognise her videos pretty much straight away these days (the killers- mr brightside, maroon 5- she will be loved, the strokes- the end has no end)

gwen thanks her extensively in a recent interview...

"i'd like to say that sophie muller is a genius. she is one of my most talented friends. she can and will only do projects that she is inspired by. she is driven by creativity and the love for what she does and as a result she never compromises. i consider her a true artist. i was a fan of sophie's work before I even imagined working with her. after working with her for the first time on our 'don't speak' video, we became close friends. on the set her direction is humble and simple, but she knows what she wants and knows when she gets it. a woman in charge in the male-dominated world of filmmaking makes the whole experience that much more exciting. she has a way of making every cut have a reason and meaning. the videos have a life of their own and become better each time you watch them. i am always in shock the first time i see them and then after a few more times i am actually amazed."

faux pas

I love Tim Shiel.

We've never actually met, but I'm sure if we ever do, it'll be magic!

Tim makes music as Faux Pas.

He's one of the amazing Melbourne artists whose stuff I believe is far more interesting that Wally-De-'Hearts A Mess'-I-have-an-Aria-Baker, but that is unfortunately overshadowed by the juggernaut that is Gotye. Not that Gotye isn't a great artist, I just believe Faux Pas is better. When he independently released his 2006 debut album 'Entropy Begins At Home' I was blown away! It was a simple but layered, carefully considered fusion of pop, electro and crunchy psychedelia.

Its not suprising then, that when I was sent a copy of his new single last week, I was hooked immediately! The chorus line "every time I think I'm the only one whose lonely, someone calls on me" is hauntingly honest but also so cutsey and catchy!

Have a listen
Changes
'Bug In Mouth' Pikelet - Faux Pas remix
Yumi and the Sky' Zeal - Faux Pas remix

'Changes' is the first single from his upcoming sophomore record, and has been released with some of Tim's remixes that after floating around for a while on the web are finally available on disk. Pikelet (Melbourne) and Zeal (Adelaide) are two more artists definitely worth your time if you're after some great Aussie talent.

having an indie moment

I have an exam on Monday, and I'm pretty sure I will fail. I also have my iTunes on random and this just came on...

planning my escape SLEEPING STATES

Yep, pretty much.

Sleeping States reminds me of Jens Leckman. He has the same charming sincerity, his songs gentle and honest and quite prolific at times. Plus, his real name is even cooler than mine - Markland Starkie - how awesome!

This is from his 2nd album There The Open Spaces, which is out now. If you like the song above, check the record. Its released locally through Etch n Sketch.

uumm... errr... just a trim?

Events for the 2008 Sydney Festival were made public yesterday, and after discussing the program at work today, my coworkers signed me up for this...

I think they reckon I'm vain, or something, and wont turn up. But fuck that!

As an experimental theatre project, a group of ten kids are undertaking a series of training workshops with local professional stylists and will then be offering free haircuts at salons in Parramatta and Darlinghurst - and it's entirely up to you and your 'young stylist' what look you end up with!

The press kit from the Canadian company Mammalian Diving Reflex reads: "'Haircuts by Children' pits our trust in the younger generation against the thrills and chills of vanity"

Hmmmm... how much do I trust a ten year old? Or, how much do I like my hair...?

I wanna know what I should get done! Consider this styling by public poll - What style should I go for??? Mohawk?! Lemme know!

bmore of a hipster

I should be writing an essay about Bourdieu... instead I'm listening to D Lake

The first I heard of D Lake was his remix of Gotye's gorgeous track 'Hearts a Mess' from the album Mixed Blood, released earlier this year. After hearing me spin the single on FBi, Daren got in touch and sent me his digital EP 'B More Of A Hipster'. It's not out yet, so you get to hear it first!

I've been meaning to post these up for a while, but have been busy and haven't had the chance. So rather than wait until I have the time to write a proper profile, I thought I should just get them out to you. Each track is reflective of the Baltimore club sounds we love at movestill so... I hope you like them too!

Let me know what you think! If you love, I'll post some more, and let you know what he's up to. Maybe even include an interview or something fancy like that...

helps having friends in high places

Flostradamus' Kid Sister (pardon the pun - ha ha! ohh...) is so hot. And now a blonde?! I think it really suits her!

She is 'good friends' with A-Track and thus, it seems, 'friends' with Kanye. The graduate kindly lent his services for her 'Pro Nails' video clip. The single was released this week.

I think I might go get a manicure this arvo...

Sweetpea Home for Karen Walker

I went shopping for a new pair of jeans today. Jeans shopping is always something I dread, as I can never find the right pair... they're always too low, too tight, too saggy-bummed, too short in the leg, too long in the leg, too you-get-the-idea.

So you can imagine my excitement when in Incu Clothing, I was distracted by something wonderful that completely took my mind off bad denim!

My favourite designer Karen Walker (see previous post) has combined two other of my great loves - Owl figurines and pillows - with a range of plush toys! Hoorah!

The collection includes quirky animals, giant fruit and little dolls in exclusive Karen Walker fabrics, each complementing Karen Walker Summer 07/08. All pieces are hand-made by Sweetpea designer Louise Cuckow, and remind me of toys I used to play with at my great-grandmothers house when I was really young.

These are my favourites...

but check out the full range here and here

wil.i.wrong

Apparently this sample wasn't approved, and the track will never have an official released.

It reminds me of going out in Sydney, after having just turned 18 and moving from the country. I seriously didn't know there was more to Sydney than George st. Gross.

Will, there is more to music than Black Eyed Peas lyrics (Baby where’d you get your body from? Tell me where’d you get your body from. I got it from my mama. I got it from my mama.) and Daft Punk samples. Yes, they are a great band, but they can be left AS IS.

Don't get stuck on George st.

Go you Gore Thing

Maybe not as much as those kids, but I'm pretty excited that Al Gore has won the Nobel Peace Prize this year. I think the work that he has been doing is amazing. Upon receipt of the honour, he said, "We face a true planetary emergency. The climate crisis is not a political issue, it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity. It is also our greatest opportunity to lift global consciousness to a higher level."

Gore was one of the first politicians to grasp the seriousness of climate change and to call for a reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. He held the first congressional hearings on the subject in the late 1970s and has continued to be a world-wide ambassador ever since.

To celebrate how great Al Gore is, here are a couple of fun trivia facts about him that you can throw into conversation...

-A distant relative of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson.

-Was actor Tommy Lee Jones's room-mate at Harvard.

Speaking of... did you know that Marcia Hines is Condoleeza Rice's cousin? Sweartogod!

BUS-TED.

so. everyone. i moved to newtown a couple of weeks ago. i am loving it and am already "so newtown", here are some reasons why:

- tried African cuisine for the first time.
- went to the Vanguard and caught myself next to Tim Freedman.
- walk in to Pretty Dog every day, as if I momentarily forget that I can't afford anything in there.
- catch myself in the gluten-free aisle at Franklins eventhough I'm not a ceoliac.
-bought incense at Newtown Variety- 'Chandan' scent.
- get asked for money about 5 times a day and always reply with "I'll help you when you help yourself!" (JOKE guys. CHILL)
-changed 'My Cinemas' from Greater Union Hornsby to Dendy Newtown.
- realise that my friends in Surry Hills may as well live in Sudan. there is no way to see them. ever. unless i get a cab. but so many people I know live in newtown so why would i?

anyway another thing that has come from my move is the shift from trains being my main source of transport (no more mX...refer to earlier post) to now it being buses. this has been quite good actually. despite the fact that i basically never get a seat and about ten buses drive past me without stopping, i'm liking the buses.

two things happened this morning. firstly it was my first time using a pre-paid bus ticket thingy. so that was extremely nerve-wracking, i imagined all these scenarios in my head, putting it in the machine the wrong way and some really cute guy seeing me and laughing "other way you dumbfuck!" etc. But it actually went pretty well and no one seemed to be paying much attention to me (weird).

the second thing that happened was that I was lucky enough to get a seat this morning in one of those four-seater compartments at the front where I was staring back at the rest of the bus. hate them! after I'd been on the bus for about 5 minutes there were no seats left and a lady got on the bus who was about 45 years old. she seemed quite fit, healthy and whatever else. she had a couple of shopping bags with her too.

the girl sitting directly in front of me (some Sydney Uni student) saw the lady get on and after a moment of questioning what she was about to do, came out with "do you want to sit down?" well. well. well. what had she started. the shopping bag lady gave her a look like "are you kidding me right now?", shot her a sarcastic smile and said "no I'm fine thanks." much awkwardness followed. but i actually love a bit of awkwardness when it doesn't involve myseld. I was SO happy that my iPod had died so I could hear this whole exchange.

but it really got me thinking. where do you draw the line? when are people old enough to be offered seats? what is the criterion? what if a relatively young and healthy person has white hair (remember how it was cool to dye your hair grey for a second)? what if a clearly old person is fit as a fiddle and talking on their mobile and listening to an iPod, and not "old" in the "traditional sense"? should they be left standing?

personally, i've decided the day I get offered a seat on a bus is the day I officially stop catching public transport.

winn me over

(Wow. What a fucking cheesy title!)

Rather than posting something new, I thought this might be a nice reminder of something great

rebellion lies

Ive been listening to the record non-stop since their Big Day Out appearance was announced early last week. I. Cant. Fucking. Wait!!!!!!

They're famous for their encore's... Check out this video of their 2nd encore, side of stage, on the pavement after a recent show at Randall's Island Park NYC

Yep, its 'Kiss Off' by Violent Femmes. Nice huh! Fingers crossed they pull out these moves in Sydney

(If this and their Glastonbury show was anything to go by, we should be in for something pretty special! Watch the videos if you havent yet, just the enormity of the crowd alone is incredible)

all over surry hills.

Although I may not be getting paid for all the posters I'm spewing out, I'm getting printed everywhere... which is sometimes more exciting. Not only is this DJ Ayres poster all over the city, it's going to be a crazy party. Come.

forgive me

Last week was one of the craziest ever. Post crazy week, I seem to be doing ok. What has battled is coming home every night to this.

My aim this weekend was to clean the brothel that is my room. It's sunday, almost four, and I haven't touched it. I think perhaps, the opposite. I found myself littering in my own room. I'm hideous.

Go here and listen to "Wait a Minute (Just a Touch)" produced by Will.I.Am. Then send your thanks to Pitchfork for providing such a sweet pop tune mid week

'Shine' drops early next year, and features collaborations with Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Mark Ronson, Wyclef Jean. Holy. Shit.
